About Saifeddine Boumaza

Built to make liquidity decisions provable, not assumed.

Saifeddine Boumaza was started to give French SMEs and investment managers a way to test liquidity strategies against real historical data before committing capital — replacing guesswork with backtested evidence.

Why we built a backtesting layer for liquidity

Most liquidity decisions inside SMEs and mid-sized investment desks are still made on spreadsheets, static covenant checklists, and best guesses about how a strategy would have performed historically. Saifeddine Boumaza was founded to close that gap — to build a platform where a liquidity approach can be run against past market and cash-flow conditions before it is applied to real capital.

The company started with a narrow focus: French SMEs managing working capital and investment managers responsible for liquidity buffers across client portfolios. That focus has stayed the same as the platform has grown — we build for operators who need a defensible, data-backed answer, not a dashboard.

Replace assumption with a backtested record

Our mission is to give every liquidity decision a historical reference point. Instead of relying on intuition or a single forecasting model, teams using Saifeddine Boumaza can see how a given approach would have behaved across prior market conditions — and adjust before, not after, capital is committed.

What guides how we build

These principles shape the platform's design decisions, from how data is sourced to how results are presented.

01

Evidence over opinion

Every output on the platform is tied to a dataset and a defined test period. We do not present projections as if they were guarantees.

02

Transparency in method

Users can see the assumptions and data windows behind a backtest, rather than being handed an opaque score.

03

Built for operators

The platform is designed around the day-to-day decisions of SME finance teams and investment managers, not generic financial theory.

04

Disciplined scope

We focus on liquidity strategy testing specifically, rather than expanding into unrelated financial products.

A small team focused on one problem

Saifeddine Boumaza is run by a team working across data engineering, financial analysis, and product design. Rather than describe individual roles here, we keep the focus on the work: building and maintaining a backtesting platform that finance teams can rely on for liquidity decisions.

Data & Modeling

Responsible for sourcing historical datasets and maintaining the integrity of the backtesting engine.

Platform & Product

Focused on making backtested results legible and actionable for finance teams, without oversimplifying the underlying analysis.
